William R. Goodell
William R. Goodell is the President and a Trustee of the Robertson Foundation.
Since January 2003, he has also served as General Counsel of Tiger Management
LLC, a position he formerly held from 1995 to 2000. Mr. Goodell was a partner
with the Atlanta, Georgia-based firm of King & Spalding, where he practiced
corporate finance law from 1980 to 1995. He is a member of the District of Columbia and
State of Georgia Bars; he formerly served as chair of the Georgia State Bar's
Corporate Code Committee. Mr. Goodell presently is a member of the Supervisory
Board of Directors of The Jaguar Fund, NV, and formerly was a Director of
Crawford & Company and Max Re, New York Stock Exchange companies in the
insurance industry. Mr. Goodell received his undergraduate degree with honors
from Williams College, majoring in political
economics. He graduated from Washington & Lee
University's School of Law,
magna cum laude, in 1980 where he was also a member of Order of the Coif and
Omnicron Delta Kappa honor societies and served as an editor of the Law Review.
