Amanda Bio
Amanda Goodwin first joined the McCardell team in the summer of 2006, after returning from a year at the London School of Economics and Political Science. While she was initially charged with the responsibility of evaluating federal traffic safety data and assisting in the publication of the group's White Paper, her tasks later broadened to encompass research and development and expanding [CR]'s web presence. In September 2007, she assumed the title "Assistant to the Director."
A member of the Middlebury College Class of 2007.5, Amanda was awarded "Outstanding Overall Contributor to Campus Life" in 2007 for her work as Chair of the Student Government Association Finance Committee and Comprehensive Fee Committee, and Tour Guide Coordinator and Admissions Interviewer, among other positions. In the summer of 2007, she returned to London to pursue research for her other passion -- the voting behavior of British ethnic minorities -- interviewing Muslims of Bangladeshi and Pakistani descent for her honors thesis in political science.
Goodwin hails from New York City, where she attended the Horace Mann School.
